Turmeric powder comes from India and is made from the roots of the plant Turmeric. The herb is traditionally called Indian saffron because its deep yellow-orange color is very similar to the saffron’s tint.Turmeric paste is used to adorn the statues or murtis of God. Just mix some turmeric powder with a little water to make a paste consistency and apply to the problematic area of the skin.
